Bio


   Born in Pasadena, CA in 1961, Michele spent her childhood  living in Geneva, Switzerland. She returned to the USA in 1972, with her parents and siblings, and settled in Wilmington, DE. Michele now lives with her husband, Scott and their three children, in Greenville, DE.

   A graduate of Ursuline Academy, Wilmington, DE and the University of Delaware, Newark, DE. Foster has a BA in Art and English Journalism and she started her career as a graphic artist at local corporations. In 1988, Foster started a freelance graphic art and design business 

  After her first child was born in 1998, Foster left her career to raise her son. While freelancing, Michele began taking painting art classes and critique classes in Delaware and Pennsylvania. She uses different mediums including oil, oil sticks, acrylic, collage and pastel to create her artwork. Foster enjoys painting with lots of color and expression.

   Michele has been juried into three distinctive Delaware art organizations, as an exhibiting professional artist. They include The Howard Pyle Studio Group, Inc., The National League of Pen Women, Diamond State Chapter. The Delaware Foundation for the Visual Arts (DFVA). She is an active participant in local art exhibitions.

   She is also the Workshop Coordinator for the Howard Pyle Studio Group in Wilmington, DE. Michele is also the Graphic Designer for The National League of Pen Women Diamond State Branch and the Howard Pyle Studio Group.
